When we started integrating environmental awareness with our own riding practice, we searched and searched for information about horse businesses that were doing the same, so we could support them in their efforts. It was harder than we thought it would be! Most of the information - when there was any - was scattered and incomplete. But we knew from talking to others that there was a growing movement to green our industry.
We decided that if we couldn't find just one place on the web, then we'd start our own!
So, Green Apple Horse Network was born. And now you can get involved!

Karen is extremely passionate in all her endeavors, especially concerned with raising awareness and providing solutions that make the horse industry sustainable. Having spent time learning about the ‘Green tech revolution” as one of the early team members at Yokayo Biofuels, she brings a wealth of industry knowledge of the green movement to the horse industry.
