- Organize a tack swap, sell used items on consignment or donate them to a riding or rescue program. Some are tax deductible
- Think of ways to re-use old horse shoes like bridle racks or halter hooks, you can even start a horseshoe recycling program

- Of course, to re-use is ideal so hand me down or used clothing is best! If you are going to buy new, support eco friendly lines such as G.R.A.S.S. The care of your clothing is crucial. wash in cold water, use non-toxic detergent and line dry whenever possible
